Stages

The Wijerstrail takes you through a unique water landscape in the heart of Limburg: De Wijers. You walk 110 km long through a diversity of landscapes: purple heathland, mysterious swamp forests and hundreds of ponds. Nature is alternated with cultural-historical gems such as the Abbey of Herkenrode or ZLDR air factory. You walk on boardwalks, along, on and through the water. The route is divided into five stages:
